On Silence

Most of us say we’d love some “peace and quiet,” but when exposed to even a few minutes of true silence, we revert quickly, and perhaps unconsciously, to the background noise to which we’re so accustomed. Yet when you learn to identify your true self with the silence that lives inside you rather than with the noise that lives all around you, you’ve stepped onto the path leading to personal authenticity, self-trust and peace.
