It’s easy to get caught in the drama of things (“why does this keep happening to me?”) ... or perhaps the situation itself (“who’s to blame; how do we fix this?”). Reactions like these block us (unconsciously, of course) from any kind of constructive response, thereby keeping us stuck. Whatever happened is already true; complaint changes nothing. Asking a new question changes everything: “What can I do now?” If you “live in” this question, new possibilities come into view. The potential in every situation is inside the experience of your awareness of it.
