If you were to notice where your energy goes each day, you’d likely find you spend far more trying to control the world outside you (challenges, situations, stress, people) than on the world inside you (thoughts, choices, personal presence, life viewpoint, even self-care). Yet you have control of, or responsibility for, little if anything in the world outside you. Perhaps stress comes from trying to control what is someone else’s to control. If you were to create a strong inner self instead, you could allow your self-trust to power your presence.
