On Goals vs. Visions

We think goals help us achieve, but they hold us back. A goal says upfront there’s one right answer. This blinds us to other right answers and to changes along the way. When/if we reach a goal, we stop. A vision opens space for possibility to arise, space that can be filled with creative genius, not force. To envision a future creates a memory of that future; as you step into its potential, you’re drawn in, not pushed on. Envisioning a life that expresses your truth brings rational and emotional energy together, which creates meaning.
